CHLOR + SAYF
a 100% natural sanitiser & disinfectanct
NATURES WAY OF PROTECTING US
Micon Chlor + Sayf is a Hypochlorous acid solution which is one of the oldest and most effective biocides known to man.
The chemical structure is HOCI. It is produced by white blood cells In the human immune system to kill invasive pathogens and fight infections.
HOCI is proven to be 80-100 times more effective than other sanitisers with proven abilities to destroy bacteria and viruses. Micon Chlor + Sayf is a non-irritant and is gentle on the skin making it the perfect next generation sanitiser solution.
ABOUT HOCl
HOCI is the active ingredient in electrolyzed water, which is an industrial technology used for green cleaning and sanitizing. Electrolyzed water is made when an electrical charge is used to change the chemical structure of sodium chloride, purified water & natural acids into an engineered sanitising and disinfectant solution.
Hypochlorous Acid has been approved by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and has been listed as – Products with Emerging Viral Pathogens & Human Coronavirus claims for use against SARS-CoV-2 as it is with Norovirus, N1H1, Rhinovirus, Canine Parovirus, Ecoli, etc.
Hypochlorous Acidoxidises (explodes) the cell wall of pathogens causing necrosis (rupturing of the cell). Though viruses are not technically living organisms, they are destroyed by Hypochlorous Acid.
HOCI holds the highest US FDA safety classification possible. Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS) classification is only given to a product if it is safe to inhale, ingest and apply to the skin.
HOCI is classified as a Food Additive – USA FSIS (Food Safety Inspection Service). The HOCl molecule has been extensively researched and multiple peer-reviewed medical publications refer to its efficacy and safety when used outside of the human body.
HOCI is one of the only agents that are both nontoxic to the delicate cells that can heal our wounds while being lethal to almost all known dangerous bacteria and viruses that threaten our health.
Micon Chlor + Sayf is tested to SANS 51276:2011 & SANS 57650:2011
HOCl SOLUTION
Bleach is widely used in hospitals and medical practices and shares the same extended chlorine family as Chlor + Sayf. Research shows that they both kill bacteria, fungus, spores, and viruses. Yet bleach is highly irritating to the eyes, skin, and lungs—and inhalation over long periods could be carcinogenic.
In contrast, Chlor + Sayf has a temporary and mild chlorine smell that dissipates quickly, it is non-irritating, and it does not have any of the corrosive and poisonous characteristics that are in Sodium Hypochlorite chemical solutions.
Most liquid hand sanitizers contain a large amount of ethyl or isopropyl alcohol. Therefore, they should be stored out of your child’s reach and only used with adult supervision. If ingested, alcohol toxicity can even lead to alcohol poisoning.
When used too frequently, alcohol-based hand sanitizers can wash away your skin’s natural oils, which can cause drying and cracking. Dehydrated skin can be unattractive and irritating, and it is likely to cause one or more of the following symptoms: Itching, slight to severe flaking, scaling, or peeling, fine lines or cracks, deep cracks that may bleed and dry, cracked cuticles and skin can offer an entry point for germs to enter the body and cause infection. In addition, if you’re prone to eczema, excessive dryness can activate the disease, causing redness, cracking, and inflammation.
Alcohol-based hand sanitizers are classified as Class I Flammable Liquid substances, which means they have a flashpoint of less than 100 degrees.
Whilst the above are certainly drawbacks to the use of alcohol -based sanitisers, the W.H.O. and medical community has found that alcohol-based sanitisers of 70% content and up have been one of the most effective products in neutralising Corona virus on hands and surfaces.
