HOCI is the active ingredient in electrolyzed water, which is an industrial technology used for green cleaning and sanitising. Electrolyzed water is made when an electrical charge is used to change the chemical structure of sodium chloride, purified water & natural acids into an engineered sanitising and disinfectant solution.

Hypochlorous Acid has been approved by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and has been listed as – Products with Emerging Viral Pathogens & Human Coronavirus claims for use against SARS-CoV-2 as it is with Norovirus, N1H1, Rhinovirus, Canine Parovirus, Ecoli, etc.

Hypochlorous Acidoxidises (explodes) the cell wall of pathogens causing necrosis (rupturing of the cell). Though viruses are not technically living organisms, they are destroyed by Hypochlorous Acid.
